Add the Fun Factor to Domestic ChoresEnjoy laundry day for a change and do these fun activities to save your sanity! Use a laundry chute for target practice Get the kids involved as you tackle laundry duties. Open the door on the laundry chute, stand a small distance away and see how many items of dirty clothing you can toss into the chute without clipping the side. The winner is the person who gets the highest amount of laundry into the chute by hitting the target at the first attempt. Play it loud, play it hard It's midweek, you have a day off, the neighbours are at work and you have all the flooring to vacuum and clean in the home. Get through this by cranking up the volume to your favourite music and sing along as you demolish those domestic shores. Carpet cleaning is way more fun if you have a few tunes to hum along to. Smash a few box sets Got a serious amount of ironing to plough through? Set the ironing board up in front of your television and watch daytime TV, or hit Netflix and watch back-to-back episodes of a series you've been meaning to catch up with for ages. Keep enough hangers on standby to accommodate all of the freshly ironed clothes and before you know it, they'll be dangling in your wardrobe.
